Innovative was an incredible chance to learn about the furniture side of commercial projects! I was able to learn so much about Herman Miller, Knoll, and many other commercial furniture brands. I have always geeked out on classic furniture, so it was very fun to get to be around it every day!
Projects range in scale from the new Walmart Fitness Center to just replacing a task chair in someone's home office. Each project was handled with the same care and attention to detail.

Simmons Chicken needed to decide on the kind of workstation they wanted, so I made a VR office for them to walk through using the Yulio VR program.

Some of the larger projects I have been a part of have been entire chicken plants for Tyson. They were in no way glamorous, but great projects working with great people! This one above is in Danville, VA and I was the Designer responsible for it. We also helped Tyson set their new standards of furniture and finishes for new plants across the country!
The Walton Family Whole Health and Fitness Center was the most exciting and fast-paced project so far. I worked on it with another designer in our office in support of Duda-Paine Architects in North Carolina. It was a pleasure working with their team and educating them on the furniture pieces as we learned about them. I learned a lot about trucking logistics and how to work with Walmart. With minimal punch-list items, this was a very fun project to see complete!
