After a studio field trip to Las Vegas we were assigned to re-imagine and renovate the terminal C of McCarren Airport. This focuses on the most beautiful part of Las Vegas, which is the amazing landscape and mountains all around the city. The guiding sculptural piece was a snake like figure that span the whole length of the terminal. The steel "snake" also housed the functions and amenities of the airport that makes the landing a destination.
This serpentine metal structure was meant to house everything on the large side of the terminal. From the seating, bathrooms, vendors and more they all could live in, on, or under the serpentine form.

A custom sign 7' tall so the information is on a visible level.

A custom gate to match the angles set in the rest of the space.
